I work at a school and as most of you may know it is almost that time again. I had developed a longer writing routine during the summer break, but now I will adjust that to correspond with my work schedule. Do any of you have time management tips you would like to share? I set a reminder on my phone for every evening to write a paragraph. If the writing is going well, of course, I can work longer, but if not I have still worked on my project each day. I have learned that even little pieces can add up to a finished novel. Happy writing!
Welcome to my author blog. I hope that readers will learn more about what it is like to be a working mother, graduate student, and writer all at the same time. I have been writing stories since I was in grade school and have always loved the creative freedom that comes from making up stories. My favorite genre is suspense/mystery and some of my favorite authors are Mary Higgins Clark and Agatha Christie. I have a graduate degree in English and am working on my doctorate so I read a lot for school. Some of my favorite classic authors are Edgar Alan Poe and William Faulkner.
I have written two novels and would like to publish and sell them. On this blog, I will discuss my experience with becoming an independent author as I go along. I will share publishing tips and honest product reviews for writers. Self-publishing is a business and once you write a book there seem to be lots of people ready to sell you services that you may or may not need. Let’s find out more on the writer’s path together. Happy reading!
