Welcome

Welcome to my author blog. I hope that readers will learn more about what it is like to be a working mother, graduate student, and writer all at the same time. I have been writing stories since I was in grade school and have always loved the creative freedom that comes from making up stories. My favorite genre is suspense/mystery and some of my favorite authors are Mary Higgins Clark and Agatha Christie. I have a graduate degree in English and am working on my doctorate so I read a lot for school. Some of my favorite classic authors are Edgar Alan Poe and William Faulkner.

I have written two novels and would like to publish and sell them. On this blog, I will discuss my experience with becoming an independent author as I go along. I will share publishing tips and honest product reviews for writers. Self-publishing is a business and once you write a book there seem to be lots of people ready to sell you services that you may or may not need. Let’s find out more on the writer’s path together.
